The course consists of a series of lectures and presentations that introduce participants to basic principles and techniques used in clinical embryology and andrology. Combined with the Tissue Culture and Practical Andrology certificate courses, the Basic Human Embryology course offers both novices and graduates with life science background a tremendous opportunity to enter the embryology/ART industry.

Intermediate Embryology Embryology

The Certificate course in Intermediate Embryology involves extensive hands-on training to enable participants to work as minimal-supervision embryologists immediately after course completion. The program offers comprehensive and rigorous (ESHRE- and ASRM-level) training standards in Human Embryology and Andrology. The trainee should have had hands-on, aseptic tissue culture experience and must have some knowledge of assisted reproduction techniques.
Course Outcome
At the end of the course you will:
- Be able to work immediately as an embryologist with minimal supervision
- Gain comprehensive knowledge on human gametes and their handling
- Acquire extensive hands-on experience on semen preparation techniques
- Gain experience in culture techniques for embryology
- Observe ovum pick up procedure and be able to screen, denude, analyze and culture oocytes

Advanced Art Course For Embryologist And Clinicians

The program offers comprehensive and rigorous (ESHRE- and ASRM-level) training in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). The course is ideal for both fledgling or experienced IVF practitioners with the requisite background and also for established ART practitioners looking to further enhance their skills.
Course Outcome
At the end of the course you will:
- Gain knowledge on how to set up an IVF laboratory.
- Develop critical insights in all aspects of an IVF cycle from pre-treatment evaluation and testing, through stimulation protocols and treatment regimen to addressing some of the most intractable problems in ART.
- Have opportunities to observe follicular tracking, oocyte retrieval, embryo culture, and embryo transfer.
- Obtain acute understanding of the ethical issues prevailing in ART

Eligibility
- Embryologists with at least 5 years’ practical laboratory experience
- Doctorate in the Life Sciences with at least 4 years’ experience in embryology
- Obstetrics and Gynecologists with a minimum of 3-years’ Post Specialist Certification.

Introductory Human Embryology

This exploratory course introduces Embryology to life science graduates with no prior background in embryology or andrology but have an interest in learning about both disciplines. Attendees will also learn about the fundamentals of the science and ethics of infertility treatment.
The Introductory Human Embryology course is combined with Introductory Andrology and Introductory Mammalian Tissue Culture courses to enhance the overall exploratory experience.
Completion of the course will enable graduands make informed decisions about whether to pursue further studies to become Embryologists or opt for other professions.
