M.Phil Human Embryology

Programme Overview

This two-year M.Phil. programme seeks to provide students, scientists and clinicians with advanced theoretical and practical understanding of human reproductive biology, embryology, infertility and assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Admission Requirements

Admission into the M.Phil. Human Embryology programme is opened to:
• BSc in Biomedical, Life and Clinical Sciences
• MB/ChB
• Non-research master’s degree holders in the appropriate and related field of study with CGPA of 2.5 or better.
• All applicants must complete an application form attached with copies of                                                                                                                 1. Academic Certificates
2. Personal Statement stating purpose of pursuing programme with career and future aspirations. (1- 1½ page)
3. A written proposal on a chosen research topic (2 pages)
4. Curriculum Vitae
5. Transcripts

International Students

In addition to meeting the standard admissions requirements, international applications must meet the requirements below:

• Translated Certificate: Transcripts or other supporting documents submitted by international applicants in a language other than English must be translated and certified as copies of the original document(s).

Ph.D Human Embryology

Programme Overview

This three-year PhD programme will provide graduate students, scientists and clinicians with advanced theoretical and practical understanding of human reproductive biology, embryology, infertility and assisted reproductive technology (ART). The programme provides intensive research skills required to successfully conduct higher research into human reproductive biology, embryology, infertility and assisted reproductive technology.

Admission Requirements

Admission into the PhD Human Embryology programme is opened to;
• M. Phil/ MSc with research in Biomedical, life and Clinical Sciences with not more than one grade C+ or lower and B+ or better in Research Methods.
• All applicants must complete an application form attached with copies of
